The following teaching resource, designed for grades 5-7 students in Canada, aims to educate students on the association between alcohol and cancer, and how to make healthy decisions about alcohol. Using the latest research and knowledge in the field, the resource was developed with generous support from Toronto Public Health and the Public Health Agency of Canada. It is available in both English and French. Both versions are compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act  (AODA).

The Toronto Cancer Prevention Coalition is a group of passionate and dedicated individuals from government, academia, the labour movement, health and environmental groups, school boards, citizens and cancer survivors – all of whom bring their expertise to work together on cancer prevention. This educational resource on alcohol and cancer is just one of many initiatives of the coalition to work towards cancer prevention.
